Updated Experimental Participant’s Bill of Rights (BoR)

What's New?

The Experimental Participant's Bill of Rights (BoR) Form has been updated. 

The new version includes: 

  • Fields for the IRB study number and study contact information, and 
  • Minor formatting and language edits for clarity and consistency
My study involves providing the BOR to participants. What should I do?
  1. Provide the new BoR to new participants entering your study. Download the form from the IRB website to ensure that you will not inadvertently use an outdated form version.
  2. You do not need to provide the new BoR to participants who have already enrolled and been given a previous version of the BoR.

Please note that the requirements for when to provide the BoR to participants have not changed.
